These General Terms and Conditions govern donations made on the website www.clubdelapaix.org for the benefit of the association Le Club de la Paix. Any donation implies full and complete acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Donation Terms
2.1 Who Can Donate
Any adult individual or any legal entity may make a donation to the association through the website. Minors may not make donations without the prior authorization of their legal representative.
2.2 Amounts and Frequency
The donor freely chooses the amount of the donation from the proposed amounts (€5, €25, €50) or by entering a custom amount. The donation may be one-time or recurring (monthly).
The minimum donation amount is set at €5.
2.3 Allocation of Funds
In accordance with the association’s statutory purpose, donations are used to finance the creation, printing and free distribution of educational comic books, as well as the actions and events organized by the association for the promotion of Peace.
For information purposes, the average cost of one distributed comic book is estimated at €5.
The association undertakes to use the collected funds in accordance with its social purpose and to report annually on their use to its members during the ordinary general meeting.
Payment
3.1 Payment Methods
Donations are made exclusively by bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express depending on availability), through the secure payment provider Stripe.
3.2 Transaction Security
Banking data are transmitted in encrypted form and processed directly by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. At no time does the association have access to donors’ bank card numbers.
3.3 Donation Confirmation
At the end of the transaction, the donor receives a confirmation email at the address provided, summarizing the donation amount and date.
3.4 Recurring Donation
A donor who chooses to convert a donation into a monthly donation authorizes the association to automatically charge the selected amount to their bank card each month until expressly revoked.
Revocation may occur at any time, without notice or justification, by email to contact@clubdelapaix.org or through the donor area when available.
Tax Receipt
The association is currently applying for recognition as a public-interest organization within the meaning of Articles 200 and 238 bis of the French General Tax Code.
Pending this recognition, the association is not able to issue the Cerfa 11580*05 tax receipt entitling donors to a tax reduction.
Donors will be informed by email once this recognition is obtained and may then, upon request, receive a tax receipt for donations made from that date onward.
For general information purposes and subject to this recognition:
Individuals would benefit from an income tax reduction equal to 66% of the donation amount, up to a limit of 20% of taxable income (Article 200 of the French General Tax Code).
Companies would benefit from a corporate tax reduction equal to 60% of the donation amount, up to a limit of €20,000 or 5‰ of annual turnover excluding taxes (Article 238 bis of the French General Tax Code).
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, donations made to an association are not subject to the statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
Nevertheless, the association agrees, as a gesture of goodwill, to refund, upon a justified request from the donor submitted within 14 days of the donation, any amount paid in error or in the event of proven fraud.
The refund request must be sent to contact@clubdelapaix.org specifying the donor’s name, the date and amount of the donation, and the reason for the request.
If accepted, the refund will be made to the bank card used for payment within a maximum period of 14 business days.
Personal Data
Personal data collected during a donation are processed in accordance with the website’s Privacy Policy, available at:

For any request relating to personal data:
The donor may object to receiving any communication from the association other than the donation confirmation by sending a request to contact@clubdelapaix.org.
Liability
The association undertakes to use all means at its disposal to ensure the proper execution of donations.
However, it cannot be held liable for a failure of the Stripe payment provider, an interruption of the website beyond its control, or an error made by the donor when entering information.
In the event of a donation made by mistake (incorrect amount, duplicate payment, etc.), the donor is invited to contact the association without delay at contact@clubdelapaix.org so that an amicable solution may be found.
Amendments
The association reserves the right to amend these General Donation Terms and Conditions at any time.
The applicable conditions are those in force on the date of the donation.
Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
